Surfing the Web without a Computer

Getting short and precise answers through SMS queries in QTsaver's old version was fine but in the improved new version it is even better. (This service is not open to the public, yet) Here are some examples that I took randomly:

Very Good Answer
IP Address
An IP address (Internet Protocol address) is a unique number, similar in concept to a telephone number, used by devices (usually computers) attached to a network to refer to each other when sending information through a Local LAN, Wide area WAN or the Internet networks. This allows devices passing the information onwards on behalf of the sender to know where to send it next, and for the device receiving the information to know that it is the intended destination.

Radio Drama
Radio drama (audio drama), which had its greatest popularity in the United States and in most other countries before the spread of television, depends on dialogue, music and sound effects to help the listener imagine the story in her or his "mind's eye". In the television era, some audio drama has been produced and marketed that owes much to radio drama, without ever being broadcast on radio; Caedmon Records' extensive list of audio-only productions of famous plays is an example.

Bishop of Maastricht
Saint Lambert or Landebertus (c. 636 - ca. 700) was a bishop of Maastricht (Tongeren) from about 670 until his death. Lambert was from a noble family of Maastricht, a protégé of his uncle, Bishop Theodard of Maastricht. When Theodard was murdered soon after 669, the councillors of Childeric II made Lambert bishop of Maastricht. Lambert was an opponent of the Arnulfings, the hereditary mayors of the palace who controlled the Merovingian kings of Austrasia. After Chideric was murdered, the Ebroin party expelled him from his see, in favor of their candidate, Faramundus.

Good Answer

Lord Selsdon
We are honored by the presence of some of them here today. We wish also to record, Lord Selsdon, the guidance and encouragement which we have received from the two Television Committees over which you have presided. As for the future, we know already that television is much more complicated than sound broadcasting. We are, however, confident that television, in its special combination of science and the arts, holds the promise of unique, if still largely uncharted, opportunities of benefit and delight to the community.

Television Era
In May of 1934 the British government appointed a committee, under the guidance of Lord Selsdon, to begin enquiries into the viability of setting up a public television service, with recommendations as to the conditions under which such a service could be offered. The results of the Selsdon Report were issued as a single Government White Paper in January of the following year. The BBC was to be entrusted with the development of television, which had to transmit a definition of not less than 240 lines with a minimum of 25 pictures.

Not Bad Answer

An authorized signature on this agreement indicates that the Institution has accepted the terms of this license.

Radio Fm
Music radio is a radio format where music is the primary source of broadcast content on both commercial and non-commercial stations. After the rise of television brought about the decline of old time radio and its dramatic content, music formats became one of the dominant forms of radio in many countries, though radio drama and comedy continues, often on public radio. Music has been one of the driving factors in the advancement of radio technology, from the adoption of wide-band FM to the current upswing in digital media.

Cascapedia
He was an avid salmon fisherman, and was also intently interested in winter sports. His love of the wilderness and Canadian countryside led him to purchase a second residence on the Cascapedia River in Quebec.

Here's what I collected in a few minutes with QTsaver's new version about a competitor (The Nuggets service):

Like traditional search engines, Nuggets relies on Internet sources to answer questions, but doesn't require WAP, which many believe is cumbersome and expensive; instead, the more popular SMS text messages are used.
