Understanding Web 2.0

I posted the following comment on Apophenia - Why Web2.0 Matters, Round Two.
For me Web 2.0 is about shifting from macro content to microcontent. Current search engines are mixing relevant paragraphs with irrelevant ones on the same macro content results' page.
The new ability to manipulate microcontent will eventually change the way we understand things, since not following the line of the authors' intention brings you to an intimate contact with your own thoughts.
